The East Wake Warriors will square off against the Rolesville Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. East Wake is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.6 runs per game this season.
East Wake proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 18) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past C.B. Aycock 8-7.

Meanwhile, Rolesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took an 18-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of Millbrook. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Wednesday (ten), the Rams still had to take the loss.
Marissa D'Antonio made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of her five plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Gianna D'Antonio was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Rolesville's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: East Wake has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.2 hits per game. It's a different story for Rolesville, though, as they've been averaging 10.8 hits. Given East Wake's sizable advantage in that area, the Rams will need to find a way to close that gap.
East Wake beat Rolesville 7-4 in their previous meeting back in March. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
