Three Lakes had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Mellen Granite Diggers as they made off with  a  3-0 win. The Bluejays have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Granite Diggers, too.
 Kate Koshuta paced Three Lakes' offense, picking up 11 kills. Koshuta got some help from  Kailyn Fogerty and her 27 assists. Fogerty was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with two aces.
Three Lakes' victory bumped their record up to 27-7. As for Mellen, their defeat  ended  a  four-match streak of away wins  and  brought them to 16-6.
 Three Lakes wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  3-1  win against Crandon on the 9th. As for Mellen, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  3-2  victory against Solon Springs on the 9th.
