Lisbon extended the longest winning streak in A District 5 this week by beating New London, 69-0. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Lisbon led the league in scoring this week after putting up 69 points on the Tigers.
WACO's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Ben Fear has thrown for 315 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Tyler Ayers has nine catches for 104 yards. Ayers leads the league in rushing with 1040 yards.
A big matchup in A District 5 this week will be when Kent Allison's team takes on Highland. At the moment, the Lions are in first, while the Huskies are in fourth.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Lisbon takes on Highland. The Lions have allowed 56 points this season, while the Huskies have given up 93.
