Softball Recap: Logansport Has No Trouble Against Northwood

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Logansport and Northwood have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Monday. Logansport was the clear victor by an 11-1 margin over Northwood. Considering the Tigers have won 16 games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Brooklyn Horton was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Logansport lost a few balls and finished the game with four home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in March.

Logansport's victory bumped their record up to 18-10. As for Northwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Logansport will face off against Oakdale at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northwood, they will head out to square off against Rapides at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
