This season hasn't been kind to the North Central Knights, who are still winless after their fourth game. They took a serious blow against York Prep on Friday, falling 55-13. North Central has not had much luck with York Prep recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
York Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gracie Robinson, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds. Those eight rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Payton Munsey, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.
North Central bumped their record down to 0-4 with that loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 14.0 points per game. As for York Prep, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Central will be home for the holidays to greet Brookland-Cayce at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Brookland-Cayce comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 21 points in their last five games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. York Prep will be home for the holidays to greet Piedmont at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
