Ellington/Somers extended the longest winning streak in Pequot - Uncas this week by beating Windsor Locks/Suffield/East Granby, 41-0. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Knights.
6-foot-4 quarterback Curtis Field of Granby Memorial is the league leader in passing yards this season with 683. He has also thrown four touchdowns. On the ground, Avon's Colin Moore has rushed for 1089 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Tommy Myers. The Coventry/Windham RVT/Bolton star has 17 catches for 369 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Ellington/Somers takes on Enfield. At the moment, Keith Tautkus' team is in first, while the Raiders are in third.
Canton and the Patriots played the most hotly contested game in Pequot - Uncas this week, with Canton eventually emerging with a 28-26 victory.
