Mission Valley came tearing into Monday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Olpe Eagles by a score of 10-7. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-0 on Monday.

Mission Valley's victory bumped their record up to 15-6-2. As for Olpe, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-7.

Looking ahead, Mission Valley will square off against Council Grove at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Olpe will be paying especially close attention to the Vikings' contest: after the Vikings face off against Osage City, they'll take on Olpe again.
