A well-balanced attack led Hermleigh over Trent in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Hermleigh Cardinals blew the Trent Gorillas out of the water with a 58-28 final score. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 20 points or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Hermleigh and bumps their season record up to 20-9. As for Trent, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Ira the next time they take the court. Hermleigh will host Ira at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Trent will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st.
