East Clinton scaled the state rankings by moving to 445 from 488 this week, the biggest jump in South Central Ohio. The Astros climbed the ranks as a result of beating McClain 27-21.
Chillicothe extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Washington, 62-6. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Dalton Floyd threw for 195 yards and 4 touchdowns. He went 19-33 with 1 interception.
Floyd put up the best numbers in passing as East Clinton beat the Tigers. Floyd's favorite target this week was Clyde Snow, who caught 8 passes for 84 yards.
Bill Hrabak's team's Floyd and Snow have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Floyd has thrown for 1,054 yards this season, while Snow, a 5-foot-7 receiver, has 27 catches for 454 yards. Clinton-Massie's Bayle Wolf leads the league in rushing yards with 697.
An important game coming up in South Central Ohio this week will be when Chillicothe takes on McClain. Ron Hinton's team is currently in first, while Randy Closson's team is in fifth.
Miami Trace was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from fourth to second in the league. The Panthers beat Hillsboro 42-0 earlier in the week.
