Mount de Sales Academy is a perfect 8-0 against Mercy since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Sailors will be playing at home against the Magic at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Mount de Sales Academy has three straight victories, Mercy has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Mount de Sales Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let McDonogh get on the board and left with a 25-0 win on Wednesday. Considering the Sailors have won five games by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Brooke Fuhr made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Fuhr was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024.
