The Lake Placid Dragons lost to the Moore Haven Terriers  back in January, but the Lake Placid Dragons didn't allow the Moore Haven Terriers the same satisfaction on Thursday. Lake Placid had just enough and edged Moore Haven out  43-40. The  victory made it back-to-back wins for Lake Placid.
 Lake Placid's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Antranique Felton led the charge by  dropping  a double-double on 10 points and 11  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Kh'Nya Madison, who  scored 10 points.
 Moore Haven's lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Sa'Nyree Myers, who  scored 23 points. Myers scored a full 57.5% of Moore Haven's points, the second time in a row she's  earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Preslynn Baker, who  scored 12 points.
 Lake Placid's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Moore Haven, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
 Lake Placid will be playing at home against DeSoto County at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. DeSoto County presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lake Placid in Florida (DeSoto County is ranked 77th, while Lake Placid is ranked 255th). As for Moore Haven, they will head out on the road to face off against Okeechobee at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Okeechobee comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
