Basketball Game Preview: Bozeman Bucks vs. Bay Tornadoes

The Bozeman Bucks will head out to square off against the Bay Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bozeman will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Last Monday, Bozeman beat North Bay Haven Academy 64-51.

Bozeman can attribute much of their success to Jamie Hernandez, who shot 4-for-7 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 boards, and Zac Flitcraft, who went 8 of 13 on his way to 21 points and five rebounds. The matchup was Flitcraft's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kolton McClelland, who posted four points and 11 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Bay suffered their closest defeat since December 12, 2023 on Monday. They fell just short of Mosley by a score of 47-45. The game marked the Tornadoes' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Bozeman is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Bay, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.
