Central Jersey College Prep lost against the Metuchen Bulldogs back in January of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The game between Central Jersey College Prep and the Bulldogs wasn't particularly close, with the falling 54-36. Central Jersey College Prep has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Leading Metuchen to victory were Jason Woods and Cameron Hayes-durina. Woods scored 16 points along with six rebounds, while Hayes-durina dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Hayes-durina is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Santus, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Central Jersey College Prep has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Metuchen, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
Central Jersey College Prep is on the road again on Monday and plays the Bishops at 4:15 p.m. on February 5th. As for Metuchen, they will face off against the Chiefs at TBD on Saturday.
