The biggest upset of the week belonged to Nordonia, who took down 36th ranked Nordonia, 22-20.
Revere moved up to 341 from 385 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Suburban. The Minutemen were able to make move up by defeating Cloverleaf 49-36.
The Colts' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Garrison Flora threw for 298 and four touchdowns and Devin Cunningham had 246 yards receiving. On the ground Cunningham chipped in 68 yards. Austin Smith helped Cloverleaf's passing attack out by catching three balls for 37 yards.
Tallmadge's Anthony Gotto and Jacob Wood have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Gotto has thrown for 2065 yards this season, while Wood, a 6-foot-5 receiver, has 34 catches for 507 yards. Cloverleaf's Cunningham leads the league in rushing yards with 1170.
Copley's Argeros Turner needs only 45 yards against Revere next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Turner has rushed for 955 yards on 156 carries so far this year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Blue Devils take on Green. As it stands, Tallmadge is in first, while the Bulldogs are in fourth.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Wadsworth takes on the Knights. The Grizzlies have allowed 126 points this season, while Nordonia has given up 148.
Highland and Jeff Fox's team played the most hotly contested game in Suburban this week, with Highland eventually emerging with a 22-20 victory.
