HEM is on a three-game streak of home losses (dating back to last season), Rock River an eight-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change. The HEM Miners will take on the Rock River Longhorns at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Back in January, HEM ended up a good deal behind Guernsey-Sunrise and lost 59-42.
Meanwhile, Rock River took a serious blow against Southeast on Saturday, falling 49-13. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Rock River has scored all season.
HEM has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Rock River, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.
Everything came up roses for HEM against Rock River in their previous matchup back in January as the squad secured a 68-32 victory. Will HEM repeat their success, or does Rock River have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
