The McMichael Phoenix will head out on the road to  square off against  the Morehead Panthers at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. McMichael will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  game than the last.
 McMichael can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent  matchup  on Tuesday. They put the hurt on T.W. Andrews with a sharp  30-0 victory. McMichael's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
  Lindsay Redmon made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out nine batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and not a single walk). Redmon was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Abby Cayton, who  got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with three  runs, four  RBI,  and a  triple. Another player making a difference was  Emily Horne, who  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Morehead waltzed into their match  on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Cougars by a score of  7-3.
 Like McMichael, Morehead also got a great game from a two-way player:  Saillie Aheron. On the mound, she  pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   ten  hits. Aheron was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Erica Biggs, who  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 McMichael is  on a roll lately: they've  won 11 of their last 12 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record  this season. As for Morehead, they now  have a winning record of 6-5.
 Tuesday's   game will be a test for both team's pitchers. McMichael hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .507. However, it's not like Morehead struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .362. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
