Booker T. Washington is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Tallassee to the tune of 81-40 on Friday. The Golden Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Booker T. Washington's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Marquez Daniel, who went 8 for 11 on his way to 17 points and eight rebounds. Daniel's evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Raymond Minor, who went 6 of 9 en route to 16 points and five assists.
Booker T. Washington smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in ten consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Valley lost to LaFayette at home by a 57-38 margin on Tuesday. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Booker T. Washington will have to contain Jayden Weaver as he made an impact in Valley's last game. He went 7 for 15 on his way to 18 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. Weaver is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last seven games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Galvin Goss, who posted six points and six boards.
Booker T. Washington's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Booker T. Washington has been crashing the rebounds this season, having averaged 30.2 boards per game. However, it's not like Valley struggles in that department as they've been averaging 34.4 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
