Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tampa Catholic). They really took it to the George Jenkins Eagles for the full four quarters, racking up a 100-40 victory. The Crusaders pushed the score to 80-36 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles had no chance of recovering from.

It was another big night for Willie Piggott, who went 13 of 16 on his way to 29 points. Another player making a difference was Colby Cannizzaro, who posted 13 points and three steals.

George Jenkins' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maso Pierpont, who put up ten points. Cameron Sanders was another key player, putting up six points.

The win was the fourth in a row for Tampa Catholic, bringing their record for this year to 11-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.5 points per game. As for George Jenkins, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-8 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tampa Catholic will venture away from home to take on Leesburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Tampa Catholic's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight matchups. As for George Jenkins, they will head out on the road to challenge Auburndale at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
