Summit has gone 8-2 against Kaiser recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The SkyHawks will challenge the Cats at 3:45 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
On Monday, Summit got the win against Bloomington by a conclusive 16-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the SkyHawks.

Jysel Guerrero spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on 11 hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Alani Lopez was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-5. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Arianna Munoz, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.
Lopez wasn't the only one making solid contact: Summit kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. The SkyHawks are 7-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Kaiser made easy work of Jurupa Hills on Wednesday and carried off a 13-3 victory.
Vanessa Contreras made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. Contreras was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with five RBI and two doubles.
In other batting news, Kaiser got a massive performance out of Alyssa Montoya, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Those stolen bases marked the first that Montoya snagged this season. Aubree Vargas was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Kaiser has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-11 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Summit, they pushed their record up to 9-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Summit took their win against Kaiser in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 11-3 score. Do the SkyHawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
