The Roseville Tigers had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They took down Yuba City 64-45. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Roseville also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Among those leading the charge was Clark Nielsen, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brandon Newton, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Roseville's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Yuba City, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.
Roseville will head out on the road to face off against Antelope at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Antelope will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Yuba City will take on Bella Vista at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Bella Vista focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 last Thursday.
