New Bern Christian Academy can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Varsity Opponent 69-34 at home. Winning may never get old, but New Bern Christian Academy sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
It was another big night for KC Peter, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of New Bern Christian Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Micah Coghill, who scored seven points along with six steals.
New Bern Christian Academy's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-7. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.5 points per game. As for Varsity Opponent, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 307-1187-2.
New Bern Christian Academy will be playing at home against Eastern Christian HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Varsity Opponent will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Young Kids In Motion at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th.
