Naples barely beat Red Jacket the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Big Green Machines blew past Red Jacket 16-1 on Wednesday. The Big Green Machines haven't had any issues with Red Jacket recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Emily Lester made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those RBI marked the first that she has brought in this season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mia Betrus, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with five stolen bases and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Natalie Brahm was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs and one double.

Naples was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .310 or higher in four consecutive games.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-2. As for Red Jacket, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Naples will face off against Geneva at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Red Jacket, they will venture away from home to take on Honeoye at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Red Jacket are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
