The Moody Bearcats were the 61-29 winner over the Meyer Ravens when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Moody fell just short of Meyer by a score of 23-20. Moody just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
Meyer found their leader in underclassman Skylar Hicks, who scored 16 points.
Moody's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Meyer, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.
Moody will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Crawford at 6:00 p.m. As for Meyer, they will head out on the road to face off against Bruceville-Eddy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
