The St. Francis Indian Warriors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Bennett County, posting a 82-50 victory at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for St. Francis Indian.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Francis Indian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cante Kills In Water, who scored 25 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kills In Water has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Spotted Tail, who scored 19 points.
The win got St. Francis Indian back to even at 7-7. As for Bennett County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Francis Indian will play host again and welcome Winner, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Francis Indian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Bennett County, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Hay Springs at 4:00 p.m. on February 3rd. Hay Springs knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Bennett County likes a good challenge.
