After a string of three wins, the Los Altos Eagles's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were dealt a 42-13 loss at the hands of Mountain View. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Los Altos in their matchups with Mountain View: they've now lost five in a row.

Los Altos will take on Santa Teresa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Santa Teresa is on a three-game streak of home wins, Los Altos a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field. Mountain View will take on Burlingame at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Burlingame comes in on a streak of failing to score more than seven points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
