The Warner Monarchs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 73-24 victory over Langford on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Warner has managed all season.
Langford's loss came despite strong showings from Jake Samson and Rennan Bruns. Samson scored 12 points along with two steals, while Bruns scored ten points. Bruns continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
Warner pushed their record up to 6-3 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.2 points per game. As for Langford, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Warner will take on Roncalli at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Dakota (Roncalli is ranked 89th, while Warner is ranked 64th).
