Ider entered their tilt with Crossville on Monday with six consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with seven. They blew past the Crossville Lions 14-4. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

Brynley Traylor and Milee Troxtel were a major factor no matter where they played. Throwing, Traylor pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Troxtel tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Traylor has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. At bat, Traylor went 1-for-4 with three RBI and one double, while Troxtel scored a run while going 1-for-3. Those three RBI gave Traylor a new career-high.

In other batting news, Ider let McKenna Mitchell and Makinley Traylor run wild. Mitchell scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4, while Traylor scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave Mitchell a new career-high in hits. The team also got some help courtesy of Julie Mavity, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Ider pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Crossville, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coming up, Ider will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Valley Head at 4:30 p.m. As for Crossville, they will take on Boaz at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Crossville has given up an average of 11.3 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
