Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 25th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Noble, falling 19-0.

Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Noble, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Noble beat Marshall by a score of 17-0 later that day.
