LKY had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-run drubbing they dealt Rock Creek Academy on Saturday. The Saints never let the Lions get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory. Considering the Saints have won six matches by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Truman Herald, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Noah Howell was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

LKY was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .632. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

LKY has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Rock Creek Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
