4A Region III District 22 recap Nov. 7, 2012
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Tomball Memorial, who took down 799th ranked Fort Bend Willowridge, 30-27.
Fort Bend Marshall extended the longest winning streak in 4A Region III District 22 this week by beating Northbrook, 58-0. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Buffalos.
Tomball's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cougars feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Drew Reynolds has thrown for 928 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, while Dmitri Scott has 13 catches for 201 yards. Xavier Powell leads the league in rushing with 1045 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Ridge Point takes on Stratford. Ridge Point is in third place, while the Spartans are in second place.
The Wildcats moved up to 937 from 988 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 4A Region III District 22. Tomball Memorial was able to make move up by topping the Eagles 30-27.
