Urbandale faced Ankeny Centennial in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The J-Hawks blew past the Jaguars 7-1. The J-Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.

Urbandale pushed their record up to 17-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Ankeny Centennial, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.
