Davin Lemon Rodriquez and Ryan Lasua provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Eastlake. The connection was good for 55 yards, the longest such play in Avocado - West this season.
El Camino was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from third to first in the league. The Wildcats defeated Mira Mesa 15-12 earlier in the week.
Christian Chapman and Isaiah Hilliard gave Carlsbad a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week. Chapman threw for 74 yards and 3 touchdowns, while Hilliard ran for 92 yards. Teammate Gavin Gestring added to the ground attack by rushing for 30 yards.

On the heels of Chapman and Hilliard, Thadd MacNeal's team has had great success on offense. Chapman is tops in the league in passing with 254 yards, while Hilliard has rushed for 92 yards this season. Vista's Johnson leads the league in receiving yards with 143 on 5 catches.
The Lancers took down the Cavers 63-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Chapman during the win.
