The J.Z. George Jaguars''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Sebastopol, falling 41-14. J.Z. George was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-8.
Sebastopol got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tyler Perkins out in front who rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, and also threw for 64 yards and a touchdown. Jake Kimble was another key contributor, rushing for 86 yards and two touchdowns.
J.Z. George's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 2-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 14.0 points per game. As for Sebastopol, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.
