Champ Monds' Big Game Leads Vero Beach over Treasure Coast
 Starting off the list is Vero Beach's  Champ Monds, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Monds threw for 177 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 35 yards and a touchdown.
 The  victory was  the fifth in a row for Vero Beach, bringing their record for this year to 5-3. Monds and Vero Beach will face off against Palm Bay at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Central's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to  Anthony Lamattina
 Thanks in part to  Anthony Lamattina, Central said goodbye to their three-game losing streak. Lamattina did his part (and then some), rushing for 40 yards and two touchdowns for the 'W'. Central is undefeated when  Lamattina posts two or  more  rushing touchdowns, but 1-4 otherwise.
 This year,  Lamattina  has averaged 152.7 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year,  he had one  rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to five.

Anthwone Montgomery Turns in Season-Best  Performance
  Anthwone Montgomery produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Vero Beach to the win  on Friday. Montgomery picked up  a  sack, forced a fumble,  and made five total tackles (2.0 for loss). Vero Beach is 4-1 when  Montgomery posts four or  more  total tackles, but 1-2 otherwise.
 For the year,  Montgomery  has averaged 3.6 total tackles per game  and for the season has 3 sacks. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he had 1.5  sacks.

Ryan Fenelon Makes It Two for Central
 The second Central player making an appearance here is  Ryan Fenelon, and for good reason. He picked up 32 receiving yards.
 On the year,  Fenelon  has averaged 28.9 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season,  he was only averaging 9.25  receiving yards per game.

Vero Beach Wins Fifth-Straight Thanks to  Xavier Stinson
  Xavier Stinson was instrumental in extending Vero Beach's winning streak to five on Friday. Treasure Coast had no answer to  Stinson  as he picked up 72 receiving yards and a touchdown. Stinson really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 70 yards.
 This year,  Stinson  has caught 6 touchdowns while averaging 71.1 receiving yards per game.
