When it comes to explaining why Norfolk Catholic lost, one person who can't be blamed is Nolan Fennessy. Despite the final result, he scored 24 points along with 8 rebounds. Fennessy scored a full 42.9% of Norfolk Catholic's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Janssen, who scored 6 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
The win got Gross Catholic back to even at 1-1. As for Norfolk Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
