William Blount extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 3-0. They came out on top against the Clinton Dragons by a score of 48-35. This was payback for the Governors, who suffered a 48-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Ayden Kline went supernova, rushing for 128 yards and two scores.

Clinton's loss came despite strong showings from Mason Eckerson and Bryson Maddox. Eckerson threw for 375 yards and five TDs while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt, while Maddox picked up 137 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Maddox was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 64 yards.
