Baseball Recap: Johnson Snags 11th Victory in Last 13 Games

While Johnson put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Judson. The Jaguars were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over the Rockets. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won nine matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Johnson is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Judson, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-19.

Johnson wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-2 defeat against Reagan on the 12th. As for Judson, they will square off against Clemens at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Buffaloes' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Rockets' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
