Braden River has gone 8-2 against Manatee recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Pirates will square off against the Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. The last four games Braden River has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Braden River is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Hollins a 1-0 shutout. That's two games straight that the Pirates have won by just one run.

Hunter Myrick looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three).
On the hitting side, Braden River saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camden Pope, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Manatee made easy work of Northeast on Tuesday and carried off a 9-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Hurricanes, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Cooper Richardson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Manatee got a big performance out of Ashton Hovda, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Payton Harlan, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Manatee was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .458. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northeast only posted a batting average of .200.
Manatee is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Braden River, their record now sits at 13-10.
Braden River was able to grind out a solid victory over Manatee when the teams last played back in March, winning 8-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
