Palatka is a perfect 4-0 against Peniel Baptist Academy since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Palatka will be taking part in a tournament against Peniel Baptist Academy at 7:00 p.m. Palatka is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
Palatka had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Hawthorne on Monday. Palatka was the clear victor by a 16-1 margin over Hawthorne. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.
Landen Echols looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time he hasn't allowed a single hit since back in February.

At the plate, Ryan Surrency was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashton Huerta, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-1.
Meanwhile, Peniel Baptist Academy lost 21-9 to Hawthorne on Friday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Holden Moore made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of Peniel Baptist Academy's success: when he posts at least three RBI the team is 2-1 (and 4-7 when he doesn't). Jacob Hogg was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
Even though they lost, Peniel Baptist Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. This was only their first loss (out of five games) when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Palatka's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Peniel Baptist Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.
