The Almira-Coulee-Hartline Warriors won the last time they faced the Valley Christian Panthers, and things went their way on Friday too. Almira-Coulee-Hartline blew past Valley Christian 56-26 on the road.
Almira-Coulee-Hartline got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Naomi Molitor out in front who scored 16 points. The match was Molitor's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Beth Okamoto, who scored 12 points.
Almira-Coulee-Hartline pushed their record up to 3-3 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.4 points per game. As for Valley Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
Almira-Coulee-Hartline will head out on the road to face off against Odessa at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Washington (Odessa is ranked 89th, while Almira-Coulee-Hartline is ranked 108th). Valley Christian will be home for the holidays to greet Mary Walker at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Mary Walker comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 19 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
