Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eastside Catholic). They never let the Ingraham Rams get on the board and left with an 18-0 win on Monday. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Kailee McCauley made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Queen Tone was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Julian Crawford, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
