After having lost a blowout in their previous game against LaCrosse, the Lincoln Leopards were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 64-26 win over Southern Cloud co-op [Miltonvale/Glasco] at home. Lincoln pushed the score to 55-24 by the end of the third, a deficit Southern Cloud co-op [Miltonvale/Glasco] had no chance of recovering from.
Southern Cloud co-op [Miltonvale/Glasco]'s defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kye Chase, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds and three blocks, and Gus Rice who scored 13 points along with five rebounds. Chase is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last nine games he's played.
Lincoln is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. As for Southern Cloud co-op [Miltonvale/Glasco], they dropped their record down to 5-8 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln will take on Rock Hills at TBD on Friday. Rock Hills has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Southern Cloud co-op [Miltonvale/Glasco], they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lakeside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Lakeside focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 last Friday.
