After flying high against Grayson County last Friday, Owensboro Catholic came back down to earth. The Owensboro Catholic Aces took a 61-46 bruising from the Daviess County Panthers on Sunday. The Aces' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Owensboro Catholic lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Aubrey Randolph, who posted 12 points and five rebounds. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Allie Marston, who put up 11 points.

Owensboro Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 26-7. As for Daviess County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 21-12 record this season.
