Norwood moved up to 318 from 401 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Southern Buckeye - American. The Indians were able to make the jump by beating Blanchester 41-0.
Western Brown's Devin Wood and Christian Dawson have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Wood has thrown for 1961 yards this season, while Dawson, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 31 catches for 692 yards. The Warriors' Marcus Casey leads the league in rushing yards with 1123.
Entering into this week's contest against Batavia, Wood is short just 39 passing yards to break 2,000 on the season.
Western Brown extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Amelia, 60-0. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
