If the MaxPreps national rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Otis-Bison. They will challenge Satanta on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.
Otis-Bison won against Bucklin two weeks ago with 50 points, and Otis-Bison decided to stick to that point total again last week. Everything went Otis-Bison's way against Stafford as the team secured a 50-0 victory. No one put up better numbers for Otis-Bison than senior Anton Foust, who brought his A game into the match. He picked up 106 yards on the ground and threw 3 TDs. In fact, with 9 tackles Foust was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, Satanta took the game and then some with a 52-6 win over Minneola. The Satanta offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the matchup anyway.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 2-1. Otis-Bison's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Satanta defensive front that amassed eight sacks against Minneola, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
