It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Andrews Yellowjackets can now relate to. They took a serious blow against Hampton County on Friday, falling 48-14. Andrews' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Zion Dobson was a one-man wrecking crew for Hampton County as he rushed for 288 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 10.3 yards per carry. Dobson was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 51 yards. Chris Terry was another key contributor, rushing for 26 yards and a touchdown.
Andrews' defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Hampton County, they have yet to lose a matchup at home this season, leaving them with a 11-1 record.
Andrews does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hampton County has the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Andrew Jackson at 7:30 p.m. on November 17th. Andrew Jackson is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
