The Thunderbird Titans will head out on the road to face off against the Cactus Shadows Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Thunderbird is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Thunderbird had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Dysart on Saturday. The Titans were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Demons. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won three matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Anton Moya looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five).
At the plate, Thunderbird let Richard Voyce and Weston Lewis run wild. Voyce went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double, while Lewis went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That double marked the first that Voyce has hit this season. Another player making a difference was John Lawrence, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Thunderbird kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits every time they've taken the field this season.
Tucson High Magnet School hit Cactus Shadows with a four-run third inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Falcons fell 7-3 to the Badgers.
Cactus Shadows also got a good showing from Logan Scheuler, who tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Furthermore, Scheuler didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2025.
On the hitting side, Owen Konerko was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run. Jack Scully was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Cactus Shadows' defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Thunderbird, their record now sits at 4-0.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Thunderbird hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .477. However, it's not like Cactus Shadows struggles in that department as they've averaged .361. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Thunderbird might still be hurting after the 14-0 loss they got from Cactus Shadows in their previous meeting back in March of 2025. Can the Titans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
