Dunellen came tearing into  Friday's  contest with seven straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on Timothy Christian with a sharp  17-4 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  21-0  on Wednesday.
 Kristhan Roman Lopez made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. Lopez was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with one  run and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Mark Stein, who  went 1-for-3 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base. He has become a key player for Dunellen: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 2-3 otherwise.
