University Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Salem Baptist Christian 59-7 on Tuesday. The Barracudas have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 23 points or more this season.

University Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ellie Adams led the charge by putting up 26 points. With that strong performance, Adams is now averaging an impressive 16.2 points per game. Another player making a difference was Kinsley Tompkins, who posted 17 points.

Meanwhile, Hickory Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy, falling 49-26. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-6.

University Christian pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 19.0 points per game. As for Hickory Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
