Meanwhile, Kankakee Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Portage on Thursday and fell 5-4.

Lowell has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Lowell hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.6 home runs per game. However, it's not like Kankakee Valley struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.7 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
